Mission Valley Real Estate and Homes:
Mission Valley is a wide valley trending east/west in San Diego, California, created by the San Diego River (for the most part more like a seasonal creek than a river), Mission Valley serves as a shopping and entertainment center for San Diego, the city in which it is located. It contains a large number of shopping centers, auto malls, and other commercial developments.
On the southern rim of the valley at the western end is the Presidio. To the east up the valley one finds Mission San Diego de Alcala for which the valley is named.
